Well, I always present you with a dialogue of some sort (well, I've been doing it a lot lately), so there you are Since Azrael doesn't talk all that much, it was up to (young) Michael and Metatron to introduce him!

Azrael is said to be so powerful that he must be bound by chains of a thousand years length. God made him the most able angel in order for him to have control over death. In my story, I made it so that he was only created after the fall of Lucifer (for reasons that will remain secret for now!). He possess six pairs of wings.

Onto technical stuff... this pic took about 3 months or so to do (kinda like the Seith pic in my Scraps, hohoho). I started it before school ended. The sketch was rather easy to do, but I got discouraged when it was time to ink it since there were so many lines - which reminds me of why I never wanted to ink back when I only did pencil lineart (speaking of which, I'm unable to do any clean pencil art now!). I inked about half of it then let it sleep for three months in my drawings folder (and it got all SMUDGED!). I found it again three days ago because I suddenly got inspired to finish it! So I finished inking it Tuesday night (HAD TO ERASE ALL THE SMUDGES), scanned it in Wednesday morning, and spent about three days CGing it.

I don't really like how the wings came out. They look pretty ugly (close to utter crap!). But the chains! I had so little expectation of them and they look marvellous! @3@ Myes, I LOVE his face the most!
