Samael, "Poison of God", fallen angel. Depicted as a Demon General. You might remember him from an older image: [link] He has his demon sword in this version. His wings are intentionally translucid.

The sketch for this image was originally drawn 4-5 years ago I think, but I never got around to it. I'm really happy with the result, especially the colors.

Useless info: Samael is still at the top (well, with Enaihga) of my favorite original characters list.

Watermarked more than usual because the image is slightly larger than what I normally post.

i really love your drawings and not only that I LOVE YOUR ANGEL DRAWINGS SOO MUCH ^//^ as you can tell im really in love with angel drawings and i try so hard to draw them x.x but i usually fail at them

Thank you, and also for the watch and favs! :) For angels, the key is the wings. Looking at how bird wings and their structure is a great first step! Remember that observation is the key to drawing anything well ;)

yes very true im currently working on a chalk pastel of an angel falling and im using some acryrlic with it but i some how mange to mess the wings up alittle i finaly figured out how to make them like real feathers

KYAA!!! AMAZING! You've outdone yourself, Ikeda! The wings, the clothes, the sword and the iron grip he has on it, that face, the smirk and those dangerous eyes scream "EVIL". I adore this.
